- Filmmaker Woody Allen has sued American Apparel for using his image from the 1977 film “Annie Hall” for advertising without his permission. Allen claims he was not approached by the company for use of his image. Woody Allen is seeking more than $10 million from the company.

- Galleria Dallas plans to make available 60 spaces in its highly coveted camp, held August 11-15. Organizers will select the top 60 students to participate in a week of fashion education and experiences, culminating in the opportunity to execute an exciting fashion show featuring back-to-school fashions. Students entering grades 10-12 are invited to submit applications to participate in Fashion Camp. Applications are available at the Web site and at Galleria’s Guest Reception Center. Applications must be completed and returned by May 15.
