Well, in terms of fashion trends, teens are considered the most fashion conscious sales demographic of all women.Teens are the prominent readers of fashion magazines. They emulate the latest styles and trends worn by their favorite stars and celebrities.

In essence, adolescent fashion is dictated by magazines, billboards, popular music, television, and paparazzi websites.It’s 2008! Teens are worried about their pictures showing up on a ‘Hot or Not’ website wearing last year’s fashion. They have to stay on top of the latest fashion trends for teens. Otherwise, they might be perceived as uncool.

When you think about it, it’s pretty sad that society sets these standards for teenagers. Nevertheless, these media marketing strategies will continue in this matter, as it’s a very profitable business.Perhaps the most unfortunate thing about teen fashion magazines and celebrity endorsed apparel are the price tags that come along with it.

 It’s a sad reality, but many American families are struggling right now with their finances. While they want to provide their teens with the hottest fashion trends, they’re unable to. The fact of the matter is this: celebrities use their status and their name to rake in the big bucks. It doesn’t mean that their clothing line is superior to those of other designers. As a matter of fact, because their name is on a clothing line, their apparel should be held to a higher standard! But that’s rarely the case.
